February 2025: Small improvements & fixes
February has been an exciting month at Helm! We hosted our first-ever live stream and launched the initial phase of our iOS beta to a select group of users. We’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be expanding beta access soon, with plans to officially launch the iOS app the week before WWDC.
iOS Beta Update
We’ve started rolling out our iOS beta to the first group of testers. If you haven’t received access yet, don’t worry – we’ll be expanding the beta to more users in the coming weeks. Our goal is to have the iOS app ready for everyone just before WWDC 2025.
What’s New?
- App Store Nominations Submission: You can now submit and manage app nominations directly from Helm
- Vision Pro Beta Support: Set availability for your iOS beta on Apple Vision Pro
- Enhanced Version Management:
- Copy release notes and promotional text from previous versions
- Copy content from other platforms regardless of version number
- Copy keywords across platforms
- App Store Server Notification URLs: Read and update App Store Server Notification URLs
- Phased Releases: App setting to prefer phased releases now applies to new versions
- Review Alt text: Quick copy button for review share image alt text

UI Enhancements
- Language picker now displays shortcodes for each language
- Share image via Drag and Drop now correctly returns PNG format
- Welcome view refresh button positioning improved
- Hidden apps are now properly hidden in the menubar app
- App languages are now sorted by name instead of code
