November 2024: Small improvements & fixes
We introduced a new App Store nominations feature, and a lot of smaller improvements. Bug fixes include submission errors, crashes, and UI inconsistencies.November finally unveiled the new App Store Nominations, prompting us to realize that we could transform the App Store Promote feature from a mere web view into a powerful tool that genuinely assists you in getting featured and submitting a new nomination with just a single click.

What’s New or Improved?
- NEW FEATURE: We now allow you to easily create App Store Nominations
- 30% discount on RocketSim with a Helm Pro Yearly subscription via the App Store.
- We now sort apps by “Last Opened”
- Made it easier to remove a selected build.
- Expanded details on phased releases for more clarity.
- Made more of our code ready for Swift 6 (Normally, we wouldn’t write this in our release notes but since you’re all developers too it makes sense)
- We now give clearer warnings for more types of errors (Thank you to everybody that send these)
- Introduced a “NEW” label for recent reviews.
- Updated Focused Layout icon.
- Enabled localization for release notes in TestFlight drafts.
- Added localization support for beta app descriptions.
- Introduced a prompt for missing beta app descriptions before submission.
- Allowed removal of primary and secondary categories.
What’s Fixed?
- Submissions when “What’s New” text was under 10 characters couldn’t be submitted.
- Fixed app crashes post-onboarding.
- Corrected misaligned sidebar UI.
- Improved refresh logic for the navigation bar.
- Resolved unnecessary update prompts.
- Fixed issues updating Promotional Text and Copyright in all states.
- Resolved error with screenshot uploads using Helm file name patterns.
- Corrected timezone issues when setting release dates.
- Enhanced error messaging for beta build submissions.
- Fixed TestFlight draft view to display drafts consistently.
- Corrected issues with duplicate primary and secondary categories.
- Fixed bug preventing submission of initial versions.
- Addressed UI issue where tvOS app icons appeared stretched.
