September 2024: Small improvements & fixes

In September, we focused on making quick wins and small, steady progress towards matching the App Store Connect website. We got a ton of positive feedback and fixed a bunch of bugs.

Here’s everything we shipped in September:

What’s New or Improved?

• NEW FEATURE: Added functionality to set and modify Age Content ratings.
• NEW FEATURE: We’ve added support for filling out the App Store Promote
• NEW FEATURE: Set content rights for your app form! Save your frequently used stories and access the necessary information quickly and easily.
• Helm now automatically saves changes when switching targets.
• You can now right-click on Apply to All to replace existing entries.
• Enhanced Diagnostics logging for improved bug reporting.
• Rating filtering can now be done by clicking the numbers on the left.
• A new option is available to always display labels for form actions.
• Edit and improve suggested text with ease
• We match the new screenshot requirements (You now only need one size for iOS!)
• You can now buy Helm Pro licenses outside of the App Store

What’s Fixed?

• Fixed an issue where the save button appeared with nothing to save.
• Resolved a bug where adding all translations caused an error.
• Fixed an issue preventing the saving of app information in rejected states.
• When Helm is locked, it’ll prompt TouchID immediately upon reopening.
• The Reply to Review button now displays the correct label.

• Resolved an issue preventing the transfer of Promotional text
• Implemented alphabetical sorting for apps in the export flow
• Addressed various UI bugs for improved stability
• Enhanced form validation for Emails and Phone numbers.
• Resolved an issue where screenshots failed to validate when using drag & drop.
• Addressed a bug causing iMessage App icons to stretch.
• Fixed an issue preventing account addition after initial setup with a .helm file.
• Corrected a problem where the app window stayed open when switching accounts.
• Clarified current discounts for better understanding
• Helm now automatically removes trailing new lines and whitespaces from Tester email addresses
• You couldn’t edit your app anymore after rejection
• Bug fix which used to let you delete screenshots when you shouldn’t
• Better filtering for TestFlight composer
• Fixed a bug where exporting a .helm file would show an URL
• Resolved an issue causing incorrect display of screenshots within bundles.
