Helm for iOS teams
Shipping is a team sport. Helm gives product, engineering, and support one native place to prepare releases, run TestFlight, and stay on top of reviews.
Where teams slow down
Engineering owns the build. Someone else owns screenshots. Support owns reviews. App Store Connect becomes the awkward shared spreadsheet nobody likes.
Status gets lost between Slack threads and browser bookmarks. Submit day turns into a scavenger hunt.
- Unclear ownership of listing and localization tasks
- TestFlight groups that drift out of date
- Reviews handled late because the inbox is buried
How Helm fits the team
Helm makes the release state visible. Launch checklists show what is missing. TestFlight and reviews live beside the version you are about to submit.
On iPhone, the companion app helps support and PMs respond without waiting for a Mac. On Mac, engineering and release owners finish the submit flow.
Features teams care about
Pair Helm with your existing CI for binaries. Use the native app for human review of metadata, testers, and customer replies. Pro unlocks helm-asc when you want scripted ASC tasks.
- Releases, phased release, and launch checklist
- TestFlight builds, groups, and feedback
- Review inbox with templates
- helm-asc CLI for Pro automation
FAQ
Can Helm replace our release manager process?
Helm does not replace your process. It gives the team a clearer place to execute it: versions, listings, TestFlight, and reviews in one native app.
How should we split Helm vs CI?
Keep CI (or Transporter) for binary upload. Use Helm for metadata, localization, TestFlight management, and review replies.
Do support teammates need Admin API keys?
Account holders create keys. You can share encrypted .helm setup files. App Manager roles have limits, including customer review replies. See our access roles page.
